Hah, today I just found out that imeem is now part of MySpace Music, and I don't like it at all :(
The most irritating thing is that they shut down with no notice, no warning, no message. I see the music widget added on my blog is not loading, so I go to imeem and it redirects to myspace, and that's the only way imeem users can notice the site has been closed. Now we still have to wait for their transition as myspace has said on their FAQ, including the fact that imeem users will also have to create a myspace account in order to access their old playlists and other data on imeem once the transition process is completed. I don't know if the goal is to increase the number of myspace users, but I already don't like myspace and now I HATE it!

Hah! I agree completely! I hate myspace and I hate that Imeem didn't give us any warning! Now I have to try and find a site as good as Imeem that doesn't involve a monthly charge. I refuse to join myspace!
